Softened by the heat of the sun,
I flow down this mountain side.
Yearning for my re-union with You,
I surrender to your heat, your fire;
And it lifts me, that I soar invisible,
Only to fall once again upon this Earth
as rain wearing away her soils.
Dissolve me from this earthbound grasp,
That I may become one with You,
That I may reach beyond this vessel of my experience,
Beyond feast of body and pleasure possessing pleasure.
Oh let me touch Death and fall into his underworld
That I might rattle and explode the foundations of illusion and form;
That even these words of I and You,
Yearning for You and I,
Will dissolve into the union of One.
