Trip cancellation insurance is always recommended whenever making travel plans; we recommend Travel Guard Insurance who has several policy options available on-line.  Though we do not require trip cancellation insurance, we strongly urge you to consider it as a protection for your investment in this journey; due to non-refundable funds we commit to vendors on your behalf, WE MUST ADHERE TO THE TERMS OF OUR REFUND POLICY WITHOUT EXCEPTION.

Any cancellations must be received in writing and will result in a total loss of the non-refundable registration deposit.  Any cancellation made between 2/26/2018 and 3/26/2018 will result in an additional loss of 50% of the remaining trip price.  Any cancellation made on 3/26/2018 and thereafter; will result in a total loss of funds.

Rhaywood reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure for any reason, including but not limited to, an insufficient number of participants or logistical problems (e.g. acts of God, war, strikes, etc.) which may impede trip operations.  The refund of all payments as described shall release Rhaywood from any further liability.

A trip cancellation due to insufficient numbers would normally occur at least a month prior to departure and will result in a refund of all funds other than the non-refundable deposit, unless acts of God, war, strikes or other events impede our departure causing large numbers of participants to cancel participation in the last weeks before departure.

Rhaywood must make substantial payments to suppliers (including providers of land travel) far in advance of the scheduled date on which we embark.  If a trip is canceled due to forces beyond our control (acts of God, war, labor strikes, earthquake, flooding, etc.), Rhaywood will promptly refund the portion of the trip cost not advanced to suppliers including any monies set aside for its agents airfare.  We will use our best efforts to recover advance payments as promptly as possible, and will refund to you the amount recovered, if any.  However, Rhaywood does not guarantee recovery of any or all of the advance payments made, and use of best efforts to recover these payments will not include the institution of any legal proceeding in foreign lands.
